New Home Construction
Build Better Water Into Your New Home
The best time to set up your water treatment is while your home is still being built. The plumbing is open, the walls are unfinished, and the softener loop can be roughed in cleanly, with no retrofitting later. Gordon Water Systems works with you and your builder to plan and install the right water treatment for your new West Michigan home, so it's protected from hard water and contaminants the first time you turn on the tap.
The case for planning ahead
Why Plan Water Treatment Into Your Build
Protection from day one. A new home's pipes, fixtures, water heater, and appliances start wearing the moment hard water runs through them. Treating from the start keeps them cleaner, longer.
A cleaner install. Roughing in the softener loop before the walls close means a tidy, built-in setup instead of a retrofit down the road.
Sized to your water. Whether your build is on city water or a private well, we test first and match the system to what your water needs.
One less thing after move-in. Your water is handled before you unpack the first box.

Building on a Well?
Building outside the city? Your new home may be on a private well, and well water is a different animal. No utility treats it, so it can carry iron, hardness, sulfur, or bacteria that vary from one property to the next. We test your well water during the build and size iron filtration, softening, and drinking water around what's in it, so your brand-new home isn't fighting staining or odor on move-in day.
